Online Graduate Programs Among the Nation’s Best
Two of Salisbury University’s online graduate degrees are again ranked among the nation’s best by U.S. News & World Report: the online Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program (for the sixth year) and the online Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) program.
Both were selected based on criteria including student engagement and excellence, faculty credentials and training, technology, and peer assessment.
“For more than two decades, U.S. News and other guides have ranked Salisbury University among the nation’s best higher education institutions,” said SU President Carolyn Ringer Lepre. “As technology and degree paths evolve, SU is upholding the highest standards in every program regardless of delivery format.
Business Education for All
“We started the online M.B.A. program in 2015 and within just two years, it was ranked one of the top programs in the nation,” said Dr. Christy Weer, Perdue School of Business dean. “The program’s continued success is due in no small part to our impressive students, faculty and staff, who take every opportunity to grow as professionals.”
SU’s M.B.A. offers flexible options for students with a 100% online option or a hybrid option with classroom and online components. Students also may choose a one-year accelerated track or, for those with full-time careers, a two-year or longer part-time track.
“One thing I love about the program is that it accommodated my busy working schedule,” said alumnus Matthias Lennemann ’21. “I might learn something in class on Monday night that I could apply in the office Tuesday morning. Right away, it made me a better employee, a better leader, and helped me succeed in my work environment.”
Advancing the Nursing Profession
SU’s online M.S.N. also was rated one of the nation’s Best Online Nursing School Master’s Programs by The Princeton Review. School of Nursing Director Debra Webster said she is “incredibly proud of students and faculty for ensuring SU remains a top choice for nursing students.”
“I really enjoyed the flexibility of the online program which allowed me to work and complete my graduate studies,” said alumna Katie Sabater ’23. “The online M.S.N. program produced new professional opportunities and helped me identify my goals.” Student Josee Ritter Wiedel added: “The professors are positively challenging and have expanded my knowledge exponentially.”
