The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics expects employment of public communication professionals to rise 11% from 2020-2030. SU is stepping up to help prepare the next generation of professionals in the field with its new Master of Arts in Public Communication Program.

The program will help fill the expected need for 30,000 professionals who will enter the field each year, particularly in the New York-to-Washington, DC, corridor – the area of the country that employs the largest number of public communication specialists.

Tracks in SU’s new program include athletic, corporate, health, and public affairs and political communication.
