“Salisbury University is a special place and 100 years in the books deserves to be celebrated!””

SU Alumni Association Board President
Dear Fellow Sea Gulls,
The Sea Gull magazine is full of stories of SU alumni and student accomplishments. The accomplishments of our alumni and students continue to amaze me and make me proud to be a Sea Gull. As you read the stories, please reflect on how Salisbury University has impacted your life and share your story. As we approach SU’s
100th birthday in September, I challenge you to engage with as many opportunities to celebrate our Centennial as you can. Salisbury University is a special place and 100 years in the books deserves to be celebrated!
With so many fun and exciting activities being planned, it is crucial that you update your contact information with the Alumni Office. With the new email Preference Center, you are able to select the type of electronic communications that you want to receive. The form takes about 30 seconds to complete so you can be in the know about your favorite areas of SU without having to sift through other messaging that you might not be as interested in receiving.
The best forms of communication are always give-and-take. I invite you to come back to campus and tell your SU story. Current students are bright, intelligent and eager to learn from those who came before them. All of us have been shaped by our experiences both in and outside of the classroom, so it is important to provide those opportunities to the next generation of Sea Gulls. Alumni support differentiates SU from other public universities. Your gift of your time, talents and treasure provides the margin of excellence our students need to be successful in life. When you think about allocating your resources to worthy charities, make sure SU is in your top three so we can keep SU strong for 100 more years.
Salisbury University is a great institution that is made up of the best alumni, faculty, staff and students around. The role you play has been instrumental in our success for nearly 100 years. If you are in need of a helping hand, there are resources in place to help you move forward with career counseling and other benefits specifically geared toward the needs of alumni. With any worthwhile relationship there is always an opportunity to provide assistance when needed.
Thank you for all you do for our Alma Mater – and Go Gulls!
Once a Sea Gull, Always a Sea Gull!
