Patients receiving cancer treatment at TidalHealth facilities on the Delmarva Peninsula again will receive a little extra care thanks to SU. For the second year, SU community members donated items for and packed some 200 cancer comfort care kits for distribution to patients. SU officials and representatives of TidalHealth connected to donate those kits for patients at TidalHealth’s Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute in Salisbury and Ocean Pines, and Allen Cancer Center in Seaford, DE. Items were collected for the kits during SU’s annual Relay For Life, which raised more than $40,000 for the American Cancer Society.
