Greetings SU Faculty – I hope you all had a great summer! This is a reminder about the work of the SZAG – if you want to work with the Salisbury Zoo we are your first stop!
The Salisbury Zooniversity Advisory Group (SZAG) grew out of the Zoo House Rocks FLC. The FLC was so successful that it has become a standing committee housed in the Henson School. The SZAG includes faculty from all across campus not just Biology. We have members from Art, Communications, Psychology, History, Physics, Education, and the Library. Anyone is welcome to join or just take advantage of the resources of the committee.
Any faculty or students looking to work with the Salisbury Zoo should contact the committee BEFORE contacting the zoo. The committee is acting as the bridge between the university and the zoo. One of the reasons for the formation of the SZAG is to streamline proposals between the university and the zoo.
Any faculty or student interested in developing a project with the zoo should contact the SZAG Chair
