How to post?

All SU Today announcements must be approved by an appropriate divisional representative. All members of the SU campus community may submit content to be posted to SU Today and shared in the weekly email digest.

Please submit content requests via email with the subject line “SU Today Request: [post’s headline]” and be sure to include the headline of the post, the accompanying text, and attach an image (optional) with your request.

SU Today administrators are not responsible for writing the content of posts.

How to format your content?

To submit content, send your request – with headline, text, photo to your divisional representative for approval and posting (see list below). A photo is optional and if it is copyrighted it may not be used without permission or a valid license. All images should be 1200 x 630 and at least 72dpi.

When advertising an event, please be sure to include the day, date, time, location and contact information for anyone with questions.

To submit a Kudos, please provide the honoree’s name and department/office followed by a brief description of a recent accomplishment (within the past 60 days). If possible, include links to applicable webpages, publication information and/or the names of involved organizations or institutions.

Why wasn’t my content approved?

Not all submitted requests will be approved and posted. The divisional representatives may reject a submission if they deem the post is inappropriate, incomplete, or meets one or more of the unacceptable uses criteria (see POLICIES AND PROCEDURES section). Vice Presidents, Deans and other designated campus leaders are the final authority on posts for their respective areas.
