Colleagues,

On Wednesday October 4th, we will be hosting a representative from The Washington Center who will be making short classroom visits to talk about the programs that are being offered to our students. The Washington Center offers semester and summer long internships in a wide variety of DC based organizations along with additional courses during the student’s time in DC. They also offer an intensive week long January term seminar in DC titled “Inside Washington” which involves hearing from and visiting organizations involved in the inner workings of our government including advocacy, media, diplomacy, and governing. Both of these opportunities are excellent ways for our students to experience possible post graduation pathways related to almost any majors. If you are interested in having the representative come to your class on the 4th, please send Josh Bolton (jpbolton@salisbury.edu) an email with the course name, time, and location of the course. If Wednesday the 4th is not convenient for your classes but you wish to pass along information to your students, we will also be hosting a general information session that day at 4 PM. A flyer about the information session is attached for you to pass along as well.

Thanks.
