Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month is a time to honor and recognize the contributions of Hispanic and Latinx individuals to our society, history, and campus life. Hispanic Heritage Month is observed from September 15th to October 15th. This celebration offers us an opportunity to reflect on the countless achievements and the enduring legacy of Hispanic and Latinx leaders, innovators, artists, and scholars who have left an indelible mark on our world. This month, we come together to amplify their voices and stories, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of their unique and diverse cultures.
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our community. Various members of the community have organized events and activities throughout this month to celebrate Hispanic and Latinx heritage, explore cultural traditions, and engage in meaningful conversations.
