Dear Faculty and Staff, As a reminder, Open Enrollment is now underway. We are very pleased to inform you that Salisbury University will be hosting a Regional Health Fair through the State of Maryland Employee Benefits Division. A limited number of locations were selected to host on-site health benefits fairs this year. We are excited to be one of the select locations for this event! Date: Monday, October 30 Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm Location: Guerrieri Student Union, Wicomico Room Take this unique opportunity to: – Visit with each of our state vendors for plan information and resources. – Sign up at the event entrance to win Vendor Raffle prizes. – Participate in Wellness Services provided: * Confidential, free blood pressure screening performed by a nurse in a private setting. * Wellness coaches available to discuss sleep health, nutrition, and posture in the workplace. – Retirement vendors will be available for general questions: MSRP (Nationwide), Fidelity, and TIAA will all be in attendance. To attend during scheduled work hours, please contact your supervisor for prior approval. Unable to attend: If you are unable to attend the in-person Regional Health Fair, you still have an opportunity to attend Virtual Open Enrollment events. Be sure to make your Open Enrollment selections early! Open Enrollment will close at 5 p.m. on November 9th. All dependent documentation for a newly added spouse or dependent must be uploaded, approved and changes finalized during the Open Enrollment period for coverage to begin on January 1, 2024. Spouse and dependents added during Open Enrollment without applicable supporting documentation will be dropped from the coverage.
