The SU Libraries will be opening our new Family Study Room in early February. We are just waiting for a few last-minute items. In the meanwhile, we are looking for some children’s DVDs and toys to help stock the room (we’ve got plenty of books!). If you have some DVDs that are in good shape and that you are no longer using, we’d love to have them. Also, we are looking for some gently-used toys in good condition–no cloth or stuffed toys, because they are too hard to clean, and no toys with small parts, because toddlers will be using the room. More details on using the room, including how to reserve it, will be released when we open it. In the meanwhile, if you’d like to donate any of the above items, please bring them by GAC 166, the Library Administrative suite opposite the elevators, or take them to the Library Service Desk on the first floor of the GAC.
