Fulton Hall 111, Herman Van Apeldoorn Film Center
Siv B. Lie, a professor at the University of Maryland College Park, virtually joins the SU community for a screening of the documentary A People Uncounted and a Q&A segment. The film documents the history of the Roma, commonly referred to as Gypsies. Featuring dozens of Roma – including Holocaust survivors, historians, activists and musicians – the film captures this unique culture through a rich interplay of their poetry, music and resistance.
Sponsored by Fulton Public Humanities and Omicron Delta Kappa, Bosserman Center for Conflict Resolution, Department of Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution, Department of History and Honors Student Association
