As we approach 100 years, it is crucial to recognize the significance of this milestone for our University and the community. To ensure we honor this accomplishment, a Centennial Steering Committee was created to help drive these celebrations.
The committee is charged with developing a year-long series of special events to commemorate this historic event. Lectures, special collections and exhibitions, unique branding and collateral materials, a specialized social media campaign, and a culminating gala celebration are likely to be part of the University’s centennial.
Goals for our Centennial Observance:
- To tell the world who we are – and where we are going
- To share our history as it illuminates our character and mission as an institution
- To recognize those who have left an indelible impression on the institution
- To instill institutional pride
- To increase alumni engagement and donor participation
- To advance Salisbury Seven priorities, especially strengthening our identity and reputation
- To launch our next strategic plan and vision for the next 100 years
