The Disability Resource Center and the Seidel School of Education will host “Enhancing College Success for Students with Autism: A Professors’ Guide,” on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 10:00 am-11:00 am in TETC, Room 152. This workshop is designed to provide valuable insights and practical strategies to empower both faculty and students. Led by experts in the field of special education and inclusive teaching practices, this workshop promises to equip faculty with the knowledge and skills needed to make a positive difference in the lives of their students.

During this engaging workshop, you will:

  1. Gain a deeper understanding of the unique challenges faced by students with autism in higher education settings.
  2. Learn effective teaching strategies and accommodations to support students with autism in your classroom.
  3. Explore ways to create an inclusive and welcoming learning environment that promotes the success of all students.
