Dr. Basham and the students in her HONR 211: Campus Legends and Mysteries class would like to invite all members of the SU community to the free SU campus legend tours on 4/23 at 6:30pm and 4/25 at 6:30pm. We will meet in front of Manokin at 6:15-6:20pm each evening and the tours should be over by 8:30pm. Each evening a different group of HONR 211 students will lead the tour of the SU campus. Each student will tell their original SU legends that they created based on the research they conducted earlier in the semester. The tour is family friendly, but some legends will touch on sensitive topics such as sex, racism, murder, suicide, and death. Feel free to advertise the tours and bring along your students, colleagues, friends, and families! We hope to see many of you on the tours! If the weather doesn’t permit us to be outside, the students will host a storytelling session in Henson 243. The meeting point will still be in front of Manokin Hall at 6:20pm. From there the group will walk over to Henson. If you have any questions, feel free to email Vicky Basham at vvbasham@salisbury.edu.
