Nearly 50 student guests are registered for “Is Info the one?”. This annual department event for Info 211 students features select SU INFO alumni in a speed dating format. Student guests rotate from table to table, sitting and taking a few minutes to talk with each INFO alumni and share a meal. Breakfast and lunch are included for guests and dress is business casual. This event is hosted by the Information System Connect Club and the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management.
Five students from Parkside High School in Salisbury, Maryland, will also attend, along with their CISO Networking Academy teacher. Students will be given the opportunity to meet with first-year advisor Kayla Ennis, who will answer questions about pre-professional or general education requirements. INFO Faculty will be on hand to answer upper-level division questions. Alumni will share their first-year job experiences, their insights on the major, answer questions about their recent certifications, and recruit for their respective companies.
