Faculty and staff: Please consider signing up to facilitate a one-hour New Student Reflection Discussion on Convocation Day

Each fall, the university welcomes new students to campus with the New Student Reflection (NSR) program. NSR, coordinated by PACE and Student Affairs, uses the method of civic reflection to invite students into conversation as they enter the classroom for the first time. The one-hour program takes place immediately following Convocation each fall in classrooms across campus.

Time Requirements: 2-3 hours total
Monday, August 19: 11:00 – 12:00 (refresher) training (required for new facilitators, recommended for all who can attend)- Wicomico Room
Monday, August 19: 12:00 – 1:00 match lunch with orientation leaders (required)- Wicomico Room
Friday, August 23: One-hour reflection following Convocation and taking place in classrooms across campus (will not overlap with departmental meetings with students).
