  • When: Summer of 2024
  • How I found it: through our club baseball supervisor Ryan Weaver.
  • My role and duties: My duties were to help produce new and creative was to fundraise for this nonprofit organization. I also helped create social media content to bring in new customers to new location opened in Delaware.
  • Why this particular internship or organization: I chose this particular internship because I loved what the organization did for the community and the impact it had on all the athletes that went through CSP (Competitive Sports Performance) and OSSP (Off Street Sports Performance).
  • Favorite part: finding new creative ways to fundraise money and seeing how the community got together for a good cause.
  • How has this experience helped me: By giving me a path I might be interested in going down for my career but also giving me hands on experience working with all different types of business.
  • What’s next: Something I plan on doing is getting involved in the nonprofit sector Salisbury university offers to grow my knowledge on nonprofits and if this is something I want to grow my career around.
  • Advice for other students: Create as big of a network of people as possible because you never know what opportunities are ahead and how can impact your life in the future.
