Rachel Carbo
As an artist, I find joy in exploring various styles and techniques. While I deeply appreciate realistic representative work, I have recently delved into experimenting with surreal and abstract concepts. The healing power of nature is a profound inspiration for me, and many of my paintings reflect natural themes. Nature harmonizes with my exploration of emotions. Capturing beautiful moments not only fuels my creativity but also enriches my life. A significant portion of my work is dedicated to promoting mental well-being. Art serves as a vital outlet for self-expression and delving into the subconscious. The act of creating art is deeply human, representing an innate urge to bring something new into existence. I employ my creativity to introspect and to derive joy amidst life’s chaos. This collection of work addresses themes such as chaos and being overwhelmed, isolation and fear, grief and growth, and the solace and delight found in nature.
