Looking for a career path that’s good for both people and the planet—and your own future? The green economy is one of the fastest-growing economic sectors, offering challenging, well-paid positions for graduates from all majors. Join us for the launch of SU’s Green Futures Program on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the Guerrieri Student Union’s Wicomico Room and discover how your college education can lead to a fulfilling career tackling today’s biggest challenges.
The launch event features an impressive panel of green economy experts, including Maryland DNR’s Trystan Sill, co-author of the “Guide to Conservation Careers in Maryland,” alongside Andriene Alicea and Juliana Ojeda from Green 2.0, a national organization championing diversity in environmental careers. After the panel, connect directly with regional employers offering positions in renewable energy, sustainability, and conservation at our networking fair, as well as SU offices and programs who can help get you ready for your post-college career. Refreshments will be provided!
Whether you’re interested in wildlife conservation, environmental education, green business, environmental justice, renewable energy, or countless other green career paths, the Green Futures Program can help you succeed. Our network of faculty and alumni mentors is ready to help guide your journey into the green economy where you can do well while doing good!
