Duo logo in green

To enhance security and protect against phishing attacks, Salisbury University is transitioning from the traditional DUO Push to DUO Verified Push for students, faculty and staff. Starting Tuesday, March 18th, this new method will add an extra layer of security by requiring users to enter a code displayed on their screen before approving a push notification. This change helps prevent unauthorized access caused by accidental approvals or phishing attempts. Faculty and staff with DUO tokens are not affected by this change.

How It Works:

  • You will login to an SU service with you username and password as normal
  • A push notification is sent to your phone through the DUO Mobile App
  • Instead of just tapping “Approve”, DUO will request that you enter a 3-digit code displayed on the login screen of your computer
  • Once you type in the correct code and click Verify, your login will be approved.
