The Graduate School would like to congratulation Ariene Ohimor, the recipient of the 2025 Outstanding Graduate Student Award!
During Ariene’s time at Salisbury University she has proven herself to be an exceptional student and member of the graduate community in the areas of research and scholarly achievement, academic achievement, university service and professionalism. Nominated by eight different faculty members in the College of Health and Human Services, Ariene has been invaluable in her role as a Teaching Assistant in Health Sciences, helping to redesign the activities and curriculum being performed in HLSC 106 labs. Her list of contributions to the Richard A. Henson Medical Simulation Center is also impressive as “the first ever SU Graduate Assistant hired by the Sim Center to focus on collaborating with faculty to help them integrate active learning activities using the virtual anatomy lab”. Ariene will earn the M.S. in Health and Human Performance in the spring 2025 semester. As part of this honor, the Graduate School will be presenting Ariene an award in the amount of $500.
