We are excited to announce that, effective July 1, the Disability Resource Center (DRC) will become the Office of Access & Accommodations (OAA).

This name change reflects our office’s expanded scope and ongoing commitment to advancing access and equity at Salisbury University. We remain dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities while now also serving students seeking accommodations related to religious observances.

While our name has changed, our mission remains steadfast: to provide student-centered services that reduce barriers and promote full participation in University programs and activities. We are committed to fostering an inclusive campus community where all students are welcomed, valued, and empowered to thrive.

Our Mission

The Office of Access & Accommodations is committed to ensuring equal access to Salisbury University’s courses, programs, activities, opportunities, and services by providing disability, religious, and temporary accommodations.

Our Vision

We envision a campus where equity, inclusion, and accessibility are embedded in every aspect of university life. We believe accessibility is a shared responsibility and strive for a community where universal design and collaboration ensure all individuals—regardless of disability, religious observance, or temporary need—are supported and empowered.
