The University Student Academic Research Award (USARA) Committee is accepting applications for the spring semester until Thursday, February 20, at 4:30 p.m.

Awards up to $400 are available to help support undergraduate research projects and creative endeavors related to developing and conducting projects, with a faculty supervisor, and the presentation of research/scholarly pursuits at national or regional meetings.

Maximum funding per student is $400. Award funding is based on the merits of the proposal, with preference given to those who have not received an award in the past. USARA funds may not be used for the SU Student Research Conference (SUSRC) or conferences occurring after graduation.

Application forms and guidelines are available online.

Send all application materials (application, budget request, request for travel form, proposal, and faculty support letter) by Thursday, February 20, at 4:30 p.m. to drknopf@salisbury.edu (Donna Knopf, Office of Graduate Studies and Research).
