Secondary and physical education students Logan Harris, Paul Garcia, Alyssa Binns, Isabella Cabrera, Alice Crowder, Emalee Sellers, Delaney Sierra Salgado and Vicky Vazquez attended the Aspiring Educators Conference at the University of Maryland College Park. The EDTERPS and the Maryland Council for Exceptional Children hosted the conference. Thank you to Drs. Andrea Suk and Erin Stutelberg for accompanying our students for this professional learning opportunity.
During multiple sessions, these students not only participated in sessions but shined as SU students. Our students connected with the keynote speaker and conference presenters to learn as much as possible about providing advocacy and support for all children. Binns won a free conference pass for Baltimore’s upcoming National Council of Exceptional Children Conference. We look forward to hearing about her experiences.
