SU In Costa Rica is one of SU’s strategic global campuses. Students can study in Costa Rica year-round. The
global campus is hosted by SU’s partner university, the Latin American University of Science and Technology
(ULACIT) in the capital city of Costa Rica, San José. The winter program offers SU courses taught by SU faculty
on the ULACIT campus. Each student takes one class during January term. Students have ample time after class
during the week to explore all that the vibrant capital city of San José has to offer. On the two free weekends,
students have overnight weekend excursions to two of Costa Rica’s most famous destinations – Manuel Antonio
National Park on the Pacific Coast and the Arenal volcano environmental tourism area in and around the town of
La Fortuna.
