October is recognized nationally as Disability History and Awareness Month. Throughout the month of October, the Disability Resource Center (DRC) and Delta Alpha Pi (DAP) will be raising awareness, honoring neurodiversity, and acknowledging the significant contributions and achievements of individuals with disabilities. Celebrating Disability History and Awareness Month on our campus is a powerful way to promote inclusivity, and expand understanding of disability-related issues, the social model of disability, and the importance of accessibility. This year’s theme is “Advancing Access and Equity”. Please join us the DRC and DAP in solidarity as we reflect, learn, and engage in positive social change!
